Always something new

A graduate programme that shapes the future – starting with yours

The DLG Graduate Programme is our investment in our future leaders. It’s our way of securing the next generation of talent, producing new experts with the ability to handle the challenges of this changing world. And this is your opportunity to be a part of it.

In the age of technology, life as we know it is constantly changing. With those changes come new issues that affect individuals, businesses and communities nationwide. As one of Britain’s leading insurers, DLG has a responsibility to keep adapting, so we’re always ready to meet our customers’ needs. It’s why we’re committed to protecting the future of our business. And it’s why we want to invest in you.

Over the duration of the three year programme you will rotate across four different placements in different areas of the business, gaining a breadth of exposure working alongside brilliant people while building your skills and knowledge of our industry. You’ll see what we do. You’ll learn how we do it. And you’ll share your ideas, experiences and energy to help us be even better.

Through a mix of professional development, cohort learning, soft skills and ‘on the job’ training, you’ll gain a core set of business skills that will give you the best career grounding you could hope for. As for the areas you could join, they range from finance to HR, risk to claims, digital and technology to sales, and marketing to customer service.

In return, there are great benefits, friendly colleagues and approachable mentors. You’ll have a voice from day one. So as long as you want to take your career and this business somewhere amazing, you’re sure to fit right in.

Person requirements

We look for more than just a good honours degree. You’ll need real motivation and the ability to work and create in an ever-changing environment. You’ll be curious, flexible, collaborative and commercially aware. And you’ll bring all of yourself to work every day. Because we know if you’re passionate about what you do and how you look after our customers, you’ll have the potential to become a future leader.
