Job description

The two year programme
Would you describe yourself as a creative and ambitious engineer who is always ready to take on the next cutting-edge technology? If your answer is yes, you are going to fit right in with our team. We are looking for passionate, motivated, innovative team players with a technical aptitude and thirst for learning and problem solving, who would like to be part of our vision in helping clients transform their business. Our technical roles offer you the chance to grow your skills and experience whilst working alongside our talented and passionate teams.

Do you want to help customers transform to become a digital enterprise? Change is everywhere, it’s accelerating, and most companies today recognise that disruption has come to their industries, fuelled by advances in digital technologies and more collaborative outside-in cultures.

Digital Delivery and Transformation is looking to develop your skills in shaping business and technical solutions that solve ourclients biggest business problems. You’ll be collaborating with product design and delivery teams, defining technical requirements, designing solution components, taking part in design and code reviews, be involved in/lead business change projects, learn project and program management skills. You’ll be working across, and rotating through existing and emerging technologies like, Big Data, Workplace, Cloud, Security, Enterprise Cloud and applications. (Learn more about our emerging technologies) and using DXC’s unique Bionix’s platform to drive the best solutions for our customers.

'My two years in the DXC Technology DTC Graduate Scheme were an excellent introduction to working life post-graduation from university. Collaborating with experts in their fields on a daily basis and working in a fast paced environment enabled me to develop skills - technical and communication - required working in an Agile DevOps / Scrum environment. The informal training, support and knowledge-sharing from my peers are part of the culture at DXC and enable graduates to be fast tracked into their roles. After being assigned to an engineering role, not only did I develop a vast range of technical skills, but also developed in professional development areas such as time management, collaboration, problem-solving and presentation skills. The flexibility of being able to move role and projects regularly is also a massive plus point towards the scheme. The management staff have always been incredibly encouraging in their support to help develop my career. Overall, the graduate scheme has helped me create the foundations for a strong career in the IT industry.'
