Job description

CSR Eagles is a top rated graduate programme targeting people interested in a career in corporate social responsibility. We want our graduates to shine so we start by providing them with three weeks of paid training, valued at £2,000. This is followed by a six- twelve month paid internship where you will enjoy a unique opportunity to gain insights, skills and experience working with some of London’s leading companies.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is when companies integrate ethical, social and environmental concerns into their business operations. In CSR Eagles, the graduate will be placed in the Community Affairs department of a major corporate, helping them to ensure that the local community benefits from the knowledge, skills and resources the company has to offer. Activities on placement vary but often include organising volunteering activities for employees, supporting community and charity partner relationships, promoting new volunteering events, fundraising activities and processing application forms from charities.

Last year’s placements included: Allen & Overy, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Broadgate Estates, EY, Olswang, Rendall & Rittner, Bank of Tokyo, Charles Russell Speechlys, Chaucer, Citi, Credit Suisse, Heart of the City, ING, London Market Group, Nomura, Prudential, RBS and RSA

A key part of all of our programmes is the intensive training prior to the internship. This promotes and encourages the essential attributes and behaviours identified as important by employers such as communication skills, workload prioritisation, project management and Excel. We work with great partners including Ashridge Business School who deliver training on Project Management, the National Theatre who will help you improve your personal impact and Pitman’s who deliver Business English sessions designed to help you brush up on your written work, including writing letters and email etiquette. You will also learn more about corporate social responsibility and sustainability and get to visit a range of companies to learn about their sustainability strategies
