Job description
Bring your innovative and analytical mindset to our Assurance teams and help local and global businesses navigate our complex world.
At EY, no question is too small, too ambitious or too imaginative. We use our curiosity to ask better questions, that inspire better answers.
The experience you gain from this programme will be yours to shape, imagine, build. You’ll have an impact on technology as well as the world of finance. With the chance to develop personally and professionally, you can explore your options, your way. This is your time to progress, to build trust and drive real and lasting change. Here, your career is truly yours to build. Experience our world. Your way.
Our Assurance teams work to make sure that businesses are protected from risks that can affect their reputation and performance. As external auditors, we help companies and governments publish accurate financial accounts others can rely on – so we can build a better working world.
Technology in Assurance
From implementing digital approaches into our global audit methodology to processing millions of transactions into visual analytics solutions, innovation and technology will be embedded into your audit clients from day one.
EY is using innovative technology such as Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining to review our client’s population data. You will receive structured training to upskill in digital technology such as data visualisation or design thinking and bring that into your audit work.
What will you be doing?
You’ll build a career that’s yours to own. With infinite opportunities to lead, learn and transform, we’ll empower you to build a world as unique as you. You’ll be:
- Getting to know our clients, their businesses and how they work
- Testing checks and balances to ensure they work how they’re supposed to
- Analysing the data that goes into a financial statement to make sure it is true and fair
What we are looking for
We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English language and maths, three A-levels, 5 Highers or equivalent, and an honours degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts.
