If you’re already considering an alternative to university, this programme will help you build the skills you need for a head start on the EY Business Apprenticeship.

What is the Business Academy?

The EY Business Academy balances on-the-job experience with business skills sessions and work shadowing. This paid Business Academy has been designed to give you insight to our business, provide learning and networking to kickstart your EY career. It will run from Monday 26 July - Friday 30 July 2021.

How’s it structured?

Over the course of one-week you’ll learn fast on the Business Academy, supporting on real work for real clients. That means you’ll be a valued part of a team of world-class professionals, helping to make a difference to our clients and their businesses. Not long ago our apprentices were in your shoes, weighing up their options. You’ll learn from their experience at EY so far, getting a more accurate picture of what it’s like to work with a global professional services firm like EY. Working alongside school leavers completing the EY Business Apprenticeship will help you decide whether you’re ready to follow in their footsteps.

Preparation for EY Business Apprenticeship

Looking to apply for the EY Business Apprenticeship? The Business Academy is a great way to work out whether the EY Business Apprenticeship is right for you. We expect that most of the students taking part in the Business Academy will secure a place on the 2021 EY Business Apprenticeship. If you’re one of them, not only will you set your career off in a great direction, you’ll take a lot of pressure off your final year at school and will have already met members of your future team here at EY.

Entry requirements

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You must however be in Year 12/5th year, completing three A levels/five Highers (or equivalent) and have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English language and maths. You must also live within a 1 hour commuting distance of the office location you apply to.
