Consulting Service Delivery Degree Apprenticeship

Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

Innovate a safer world. Create better solutions. Drive an incredible experience.

This year, our Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology has launched in Consulting Service Delivery (CSD). Based in the heart of Newcastle our teams provide a range of services to some of the world’s largest financial organisations.

As technology evolves and digital disruption continues - the demand for expert advice and innovative solutions grows. As an apprentice within CSD, you'll help to navigate and transform businesses, develop digital skills and will work towards a BSc degree in a supportive culture. You'll have the opportunity to design and deliver Cyber solutions for our clients, receive on-the-job coaching and have a dedicated careers counsellor to support you with your development.

You'll join an inclusive and supportive team who will provide you experiences and skills to develop in the digital space and support you with managing your time between work and study. In our team, you'll work with Financial Services clients on the following key projects:

  1. Managing third-party risk - providing risk assessments on third parties within our clients’ supply chain by analysing their security framework and presenting improvements to our clients. In most cases, leading on delivering a digital solution with the third parties to prevent further security risks
  2. Identity and access management - working with global banks and their stakeholders to ensure applications and systems are compliant with the Identity and Access Management (IAM) control framework. This involves onboarding the applications to their IAM tools and enabling controls.
  3. Audit and IT controls - supporting our colleagues in IT Risk Assurance on a wide range of clients, to provide reassurance on areas such as change, access and IT operations, as well as many other IT controls.

Entry requirements

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English language and maths, and to have completed three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) by the time the programme starts. Please visit our website for further guidance.

“My advice to aspiring apprentices would be to just go for it! You get the best of both worlds; working on real projects with real clients whilst studying towards your qualification. Do your research and have fun”
