Job description
Rethink local and global solutions. Break boundaries. Inspire a better tomorrow.
Gain real work experience in the business world, take advantage of new tech and build the skills you need to propel your career. You’ll create real change by helping local and international businesses find better ways of managing tax, all while studying for a professional qualification as part of your apprenticeship, so you can progress towards becoming a tax consultant. This is your opportunity to create a strong reputation in a strong global company.
What is Tax at EY?
We help local and global entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and organisations manage every element of their business’s tax. And as a function, Tax has changed more than ever in the past five years. Not only is Tax broader in its operations, but it’s also more digital. From bots that do our number crunching to AI that inspires our innovations, Tax is no longer bound to Excel, it’s boundless. Tax is now one of our most central business areas and we work across our entire organisation to shape strategies of the future.
What will you be doing?
Working in financial services, you’ll be helping clients to adapt to the rapidly evolving tax landscape using technology, and gaining a greater breadth of knowledge by:
- Contributing to the efficient and successful delivery of Tax Technology and advisory services
- Working directly on tax reporting, technical research and data analysis alongside senior colleagues
- Building important relationships with clients
You’ll also gain a host of transferable skills, and receive on-the-job coaching and support from a careers counsellor to ensure that you reach your potential. We want you to get everything out of your apprenticeship with us, not only setting you up for an incredible journey, but for a long-lasting career that you can make your own.
Our purpose is to build a better working world. Together, we’ll define and activate that purpose, creating sustainable and long-term value as a connected business. This is your time to grow.
