Job description

Help organisations leverage technology to transform their businesses. And embark on a career journey you can own, shape and grow.

“On this programme, I'm accelerating my career and working on exciting technology projects. I also contribute to a variety of Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives through wider EY projects.” – Natasha, Technology Consulting Graduate

About the programme

Join our Technology Consulting Graduate Programme and feel the fast-paced nature of our operations from day one. The work is varied, the challenges are daily, and the experience yours to design. Whether you see yourself analysing the quality of client systems, transforming our approach to tech, implementing digital-first business strategies, improving data processes, bridging the gap between people and autonomous solutions, or communicating the progress our team makes, you’ll play a vital role in our success. Here, you will drive us into tomorrow while laying the foundations for your own digital-first future. This is where you can have real impact and carve a distinctive path.

What will you be doing?

  • Working across a range of industries to address technology challenges for our clients.
  • Becoming well-rounded in a range of market leading digital and emerging technologies.
  • Applying technology solutions to solve our client's complex technology challenges.
  • Leveraging the knowledge of our teams to shape our client's technology agenda.
  • Helping our clients plan and deliver organisation-wide transformation programmes.
  • You’ll also be expected to be flexible and may spend large proportions of your time away from your home office.

How is it structured?

Balance projects and study as you work towards your Chartered Institution of Management Accountants Certificate in Business Accounting for Financial Services (FS) or the Chartered Management Consultant accreditation for UK & Ireland (UK&I).

The programme lasts two years and will provide you with a variety of experiences and learning opportunities to support your development. On the job, we'll help you develop the skills to decipher how each client problem is different and to find innovative ways of solving them. You'll be part of a large graduate community which is a great opportunity to build your network, participate in corporate sustainability events and develop your leadership skills.

Grasp the chance to work in one or several of our Technology teams. This includes capabilities such as Data Analytics, SAP, Process Automation, Solutions Implementation, Cyber Security, Digital and Emerging Technologies, Financial Crime, and Technology Strategy. You can enjoy responsibility from day one, assessing our clients’ technology stack, developing solutions and supporting business acquisition. In Financial Services (FS), you’ll even get the opportunity to apply for a six-month secondment, gaining valuable insight into another area of our business.

By the time you finish, you can expect to be well on your way to becoming a Senior Consultant with the opportunity to build a speciality in one of our Technology teams.

Alongside our programme offering, we give you all the training and exposure to real-world work you could want. We also offer company-wide and programme-specific rewards that make all the hard work worthwhile. These include wellbeing initiatives, a free tech MBA, healthcare support, a pension scheme and more.

Technology in Consulting

We deliver technology-enabled transformation to our clients to help generate long-term value, and team closely with our Business Consulting practice to support our clients through their transformation journey.

This is where your adventure begins and where you have every opportunity to build an exceptional experience. Embrace the challenge as you help us build a better working world for everyone.
