“From working towards my accounting qualifications, as well as completing badges towards an MBA, EY has offered me a unique and stimulating environment for me to expand my professional skills.” – Chantal, Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy Graduate
About the programme
As we enter uncertain economic times, the role of our Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (TRS) team becomes increasingly important. From start-ups to large conglomerates, companies across Europe look to us to help manage their entire business lifecycles. Whether they’re a company in distress or simply seeking to build resilience in their business, we work closely alongside them to deliver the financial and organisational outcomes that enable them to adapt and succeed. And as a member of this team, you’ll enjoy tackling challenges that involve competitor innovation, supply chain risks, and more. Balance work and study as you broaden your opportunities within our growing business.
What will you be doing?
- Working in project teams on a diverse range of engagements to help companies, creditors and other stakeholders that are facing financial challenges and threats across the whole economic cycle.
- Taking ownership for key deliverables including financial analysis and report writing.
- Supporting business development activities, including pitches and business and industry analysis.
- Communicating with clients, management teams and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other teams across EY as needed to provide the best possible solution for our clients.
How is it structured?
Join us and get started on your ICAS qualification straight away. Jump into work on real client projects – often involving complex situations, supported by a network of peers. You’ll contribute to these projects, identifying and understanding not only clients’ financial and operational issues but how their business and industry works too.
You’ll learn how to make quick, practical decisions and work through problems decisively, and as you progress, you’ll get to do all this with more autonomy and responsibility. As well as having the support of your team and in-house training opportunities, you’ll complete your professional qualification and connect with a wide network of professionals, helping to build your career.
Alongside our programme offering, we give you all the training and exposure to real-world work you could want. We also offer company-wide and programme-specific rewards that make all the hard work worthwhile. These include wellbeing initiatives, a free tech MBA, healthcare support, a pension scheme and more.
Technology in TRS
Technological advances have transformed our ways of working. You’ll learn how to work with visualisation and analytical tools, automation and artificial intelligence to deliver faster, more insightful client deliverables.
This is where your adventure begins and where you have every opportunity to build an exceptional experience. Embrace the challenge as you help us build a better working world for everyone.
