Job description

Discover EY

  • Experience days: travel costs and accommodation will be paid for
  • EY Summer Internship Programmes: paid work experience

Our undergraduate programmes are designed to give you a true feel for the working world. Join us from one day, one week, six weeks or one year and learn more about EY and where you could fit in here.

What will you be doing?

Discover EY

Join us for panel discussions, Q&As with our people, interactive workshops and more. You’ll learn about our opportunities and get the chance to be fast-tracked onto one of our summer internships. We run two programmes; Black Heritage in Business and Women in Business.

Ideal for students in their first year of university, or in the second year of a four-year course, considering their career options.

Summer Internship Programmes
Six weeks of paid work experience that offers real insights into graduate life at EY.

  • Choose a placement within assurance, actuarial, consulting, tax or transactions
  • Get an induction into EY and receive business skills training
  • Work on real client projects alongside our graduates

If everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate.

You can apply for this programme if you’re in your penultimate year at university or, if you’re already in your final year but will be doing a one-year master’s degree or taking a gap year. For some of our programmes, you’ll need to be studying an honours degree in any subject, while others will require a subject relevant to your business area.

Industrial Placement Programmes
A one-year paid placement that gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and insights to the working world.

  • Choose a placement within Assurance, Business Consulting, Technology Consulting or Tax
  • Have real responsibility on client projects from day-one
  • Get a head start on your professional qualifications

If everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate.

If you’re studying for an honours degree (in any subject) that includes a one-year placement and you’re in your penultimate year of university, this programme is for you.

Leading Women Programmes
One week of paid work experience within one of our service line teams, across the UK, shadowing inspirational senior women.

  • Choose a placement within Assurance, Tax or Transactions
  • Be inspired, and shadow, inspirational women
  • Provide support on real client work
  • Hear about what we’re doing to promote gender equality

At the end of the programme you’ll be given personalised career counselling to help you decide where you want to go next and if everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate

Ideal for female students in their first year of university, or in the second year of a four-year course, considering their career options.
