Here at GCHQ, we have a clear purpose - we want to help protect the UK. We work against cyber-attacks, terrorism and espionage. So everyone who works here, works towards that goal. But we always do it together, supporting each other every step of the way. We’re proud to collaborate, and even prouder to work with purpose.
This is your chance to spend your summer working shoulder to shoulder with world-class cyber experts. It’s an exhilarating ten-week programme that allows you to gain unique insights into the world of cyber intelligence and explore how your tech passion could help protect the UK. You’ll learn from a supportive and collaborative team, work on live projects and develop skills to keep us one step ahead in this ever-evolving world.
Join us for the summer and you’ll be part of a close-knit group who’ll give you lots of support and advice. What we do here is amazing, so you can expect to get stuck into unrivalled technology and training to bring you up to speed. This includes pre-learning opportunities even before the start of the Summer School - world-class cyber experts delivering interactive lectures, workshops and a unique opportunity to visit our headquarters.
We’ll pay you £300 a week and give you free accommodation in Cheltenham. We may even offer another summer placement and/or a full-time role after you graduate. If you’re graduating between 2021 and 2024 do something worthwhile with your summer. Start exploring a career in cyber today.
