Graduate Management Programme (Engineering)

Job description

Go-Ahead’s two-year graduate engineering programme is incredibly varied and hands-on - your role will not only involve vehicle maintenance, production and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, but critically, people management and project planning. You can expect shift work and you’ll be given real responsibility, not just shadowing, but managing your own engineering team within a garage.

We care about your career, so through mentoring we hope to support you to become an Engineering Supervisor within two years, and a senior manager on track to be earning £35-40,000 per year within five years.

What we are looking for

Key requirements

  • Hands on experience with engines and motors and an understanding of how they work
  • A passion for enhancing people’s lives through public transport
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commitment to relocate up to three times during the two-year programme
  • The unrestricted right to work in the UK on a permanent basis
