About Hoare Lea & Partners
Join the legacy
We are a highly successful, international firm of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) consulting engineers. With a focus on building services, our design-led service is supported by our commitment to innovation and sustainability.
For us, it’s about putting the heart and soul into the buildings we help to design. These days, that’s a lot more than just pipes and wires; we look at the building as a whole and are involved in all aspects, from initial client and end user discussions through to the building’s occupation and optimised carbon performance. We play a major role in driving sustainable development and delivering sustainable outcomes.
We are passionate about designing buildings that minimise energy use, provide safe and comfortable environments and are a delight to occupy.
Graduates will have the opportunity to work on a prestigious project portfolio
We are an industry-leading firm of creative engineers, designers and consultants who bring to life the spaces in which we live, work and play. We have a network of 13 offices and offer MEP engineering, as well as more than 10 groups specialising in everything from acoustics and lighting to CGI and intelligent buildings.
Our 150-year legacy is built on the personal pride, technical expertise and dedication we bring to every project. Partner led, we build meaningful relationships and protect our hard-earned reputation by rolling up our sleeves whatever the scale or complexity.
Our award-winning expertise has been built up over many years and we pride ourselves on our unique and unrivalled service. We recently won the Building Services Consultancy of the Year 2016, and are delighted to have been presented with the Collaborative Working Partnership Award 2017 at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards.
Make an immediate impact
Graduates can make a difference from day one
Feel part of a family rather than a big business. We’re smaller than our fellow industry leaders, so you’ll get stuck in and make a difference from day one. We encourage all of our people to influence the way things are done. We’re large enough to provide stability and opportunity, and small enough to recognise our people as individuals; this has led to a culture of flexibility, individualism and organic growth. We have high levels of employee retention because our people like working for us, and many of them are the most skilled and experienced in the industry. We are everyday people united by our collective passion. Although we’re a modest bunch, we’re proud to see our work helping to make the world that little bit better.
