Job description

Volunteers can choose to volunteer with International Volunteer HQ for periods ranging from one week to six months in over 30 destinations around the world.

Volunteers can choose from a range of project opportunities, including teaching, childcare, community development, medical, construction and renovation, turtle conservation and wildlife conservation.

Volunteers work for an average of three to four hours per day from Monday to Friday, and have the weekends free to explore more of their host country.

As part of the IVHQ service, all volunteers receive comprehensive pre-departure support, access to online pre-departure training, airport pick-ups, programme orientation, meals, accommodation, project placement alongside other international volunteers, and 24/7 in-country support.

Qualifications

  • Volunteers need to be 18 years or over to participate, unless volunteering with a parent or guardian.
  • A hard working nature, a willingness to learn and an open mind are key traits to support a successful international volunteer programme.
