What You Can Expect
The Investor Services-Sales Summer Analyst Programme is a dynamic client facing position within the financial services industry that demands exceptional presentation and communication skills, strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to help identify innovative solutions to best serve clients. During your nine weeks, you will gain exposure to a broad array of products and services for several different institutional client types.

You will assist the sales team on day to day relationship management for existing clients and help prospect and source new potential clients for the firm. You will also work in partnership with various teams across functions and regions, allowing you to obtain deep knowledge of the financial services industry across many lines of business

This role requires highly motivated strategic thinkers that possess a passion for the financial services industry. You may be placed within one of several investor services sales desks, including asset owners, insurance and government sponsored entities, asset managers, derivatives clearing, prime brokerage, and Latin America sales.

Qualifications and experience requirements

We're looking for team players that exhibit entrepreneurship, passion and are excited to recognise and seize opportunities that support growth of our sales team. Academic excellence is a must, you must have an expected degree minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent (results to date should clearly demonstrate that this is a realistic indication).

Additional requirements include:

  • We recruit from all academic degree disciplines - you do not need a finance degree
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite. A second European language is essential for some roles and beneficial for others
  • The confidence and initiative to take on early responsibility and manage your own projects
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • We are looking for team-players and future leaders with drive, creativity and interpersonal skills. Strong academic credentials are important, but so are your achievements outside the classroom
