What you'll do
You will have a true hands-on hospitality experience whilst developing key management and leadership skills. Our Graduate Programme is a two-year Management Development Programme where graduates will get the opportunity to live and breathe hotel management from day one. Graduates rotate through all areas of the hotel during the three 8 month placements within the Jurys Inn and Leonardo UK and Ireland portfolio to get a feel and understanding of the whole operation and how it works together with opportunities to carry out work based projects that add real value to the company.
As a Jurys Inn and Leonardo graduate you will move after eight months to another location in the UK a Ireland and really get the chance to put your first year learnings into practice. You will be ready to move to front office, food and beverage, meeting and events and other management level roles at the end of the two-year programme. Extensive personal and professional development is provided throughout the programme with regular training workshops, webinars and project work – all of which will develop the core management skills needed to be a success in the hospitality industry.
Furthermore, working in our hotels gives graduates the opportunity to demonstrate newly learned skills on a daily basis as well as receiving feedback from the management team and the General Manager themselves.

What we are looking for
You will have a strong customer service background, a genuine proactive approach and the ability to form great working relationships. Ideally you will have worked in a number of Hotel/Leisure/ or Tourism operational areas in the past developing your skills in food and beverage, front office, kitchen and meeting and events. You will understand how a hotel operates and how you can assist the hotel operations on a daily basis.
You will have strong time management skills, the ability to form relationships with and influence hotel managers along with the flexibility and resilience to react to a changing operational environment.
You’ll need energy, drive and a real passion for hospitality.
A degree in hotel and leisure, tourism, international hospitality, business management or accounts/finance.
