About KFC

Our brand was born out of passion, determination, innovation and pride. The 'Colonel' Harland Sanders has left a lasting impact on our business and 50 years on we are still doing things the way the Colonel meant for them to be done.

KFC is part of Yum! Restaurants with over 41,000 restaurants, operating in 140 countries so the opportunities are truly global. KFC UKI employs 25,000 people in over 880 restaurants, delivering over £1 billion in sales annually and opening around 35 new restaurants every year. It’s big business but there is more to KFC than just our size, each restaurant is a space where our teams and customers can be themselves; friendly and authentic.

Our Programmes

For graduates in 2017, we’ve created Development Programmes that give you the structured framework you need to fulfil your potential at a fast pace. Our goal is to equip you with versatile management and leadership skills so that, moving forwards, you can make the most of opportunities right across our business and emerge as a leader who can innovate and influence the direction of our business. We’re looking for people who are adaptable, resilient, commercially aware, naturally gifted leaders, who can inspire and motivate the people around them.

Our Retail Management Programme takes you from Team Member to Restaurant Manager in just 18 months, it gives you the opportunity to learn our business from its heart. In our restaurants learning the fundamentals of chicken and chips; from cleaning, breading and cooking our world famous chicken, building burgers and frying fries to learning the intricacies of running a business and leading, coaching and developing your team to create a culture to be proud of.

Our 36 month Leadership Development Programme starts in September, you will hit the ground running in one of our restaurants, on a fast-track leadership journey taking you to restaurant management in just 12 months. Once you’ve honed your leadership skills and built real business credibility in restaurant operations. You will spend the next two year in a central support role at our Head Office in Woking, or if you are passionate about operations take an opportunity in a field based role supporting our restaurant teams or take all the skills you learned in your 12 months of training and make a big impact in your own restaurant.

We want to make a real difference. Growing roots in our community is at the centre of us being A Big Hearted Company and something we take very seriously. In 2016 we set up the Add Hope Foundation to support vulnerable children, it is our goal to raise £1.5 million for Add Hope in its first year. We also have a food donation programme in half of our restaurants where we have partnered with a local charity to provide meals to some of the most disadvantaged communities across the country.
