If you genuinely want to get your career off to a flying start and be part of a fast-paced Global organisation, where you have the autonomy to make decisions, drive real business results, will be given opportunities to grow and be supported, then this is the right Graduate scheme for you!
Kimberly-Clark is an innovative business looking for talented, commercially-minded graduates to join our two-year programme based in Kings Hill, Kent. You will be assigned two 12 month placements across two of the three functions (of which one will be customer management), during which, you will get to experience working with our well-known and loved household brands; Andrex®, Kleenex®, Huggies® and Depend®.
The graduate role:
Here you'll manage part of the business for one of our leading customers. For example, you could be managing our Kleenex® brand within a major customer, or looking after all our brands in a top retailer. You could even end up managing the total customer online business! Either way, you’ll have the autonomy to develop a winning plan with the customer that grows our business. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with diverse teams; for example working closely with Category Management, who analyse the market trends and make recommendations for the category. This will give you the tools to work with your customer in order to make real and informed business decisions.
A Marketing role at KC gives you the opportunity to work on some of the biggest brands in the UK. You will gain exposure to the strategic business direction of our brands from day one, and will play an active role in bringing these strategies to life. Your role could involve managing projects to bring a new product to market, relaunch an existing product or redesign a part of the portfolio or packaging. You will work closely with external agencies, gaining experience across the media mix and helping to activate our marketing programmes to engage consumers. This role will also involve working closely with the Customer Management teams in the business to bring our marketing programmes and brand plans to life with our retailers.
Insight is the backbone of our business conversations. You will support our teams and our customers by demonstrating data-driven insight, identifying opportunities to deliver what our shoppers of today and tomorrow are looking for. Working closely with our retail partners and our Marketing and Customer Management teams, you will be responsible for building our categories to achieve growth in new and innovative ways. You will have opportunities to be central to range reviews, new product development and promotional evaluations to ensure that we continue to meet the ever-evolving needs of our shoppers and consumers.
Life after the Graduate Scheme:
You will be on a two year, fixed-term contract during our Graduate programme. Once you have successfully completed this, we will work with you to find a permanent role. This could be in the UK business, or even in the Regional team!
Examples of roles that our previous Graduates have recently moved into include Brand Manager - Family Care Brand Activation, and Category Development Analyst - Personal Care.
You will continue to receive ongoing support during your career at K-C and will be given opportunities to really push yourself and develop your true potential, to become a future Commercial Leader.
