Guildhawk, in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, are seeking to recruit two high-calibre interaction design, computer science or software engineering graduates as a design and development team. The team will be integral to a major strategic development for the company developing an innovative digital platform that will support the management of the next generation of gig-economy contractors.

You will be creating an innovative interactive digital platform that will support a high-quality cloud-based translation management system. The resulting system will not only challenge your own skills but also the industry as a whole as well as the company’s business model. The team are to fulfil the two roles: (i) Interaction Designer with good technical skills and knowledge of human factors in system design; and, (ii) Full Stack Developer with excellent technical and software engineering skills and with experience developing cloud-based solutions.

As a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate you will be based at the company’s office in Sheffield and will work directly with senior company staff. You will also receive additional support in software design and development and interaction design from experts at Sheffield Hallam University.
The appointment carries a range of benefits including:
- A competitive salary (plus incentives including a significant individual training budget). Reviews and bonus-based rewards will be assessed as the project progresses.
- Residential off-site management training will also be provided free of charge.
- As a University employee you will also be entitled to pursue a Masters level qualification, either as an MPhil or taught MS, at no cost.
Although the appointments are initially for 18 and 21 months, for the right candidate it is likely that a permanent position will be available within the company upon successful completion of the project.
