Audit Graduate Programme

Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

What is Audit?

Working in Audit involves examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a 'true and fair' view of their financial position. Today, more than ever, Audit is a function needed by society; with the positive impact it can have on investment decisions and inspiring confidence in public sector expenditure ultimately supporting economic growth.

As a graduate here, you'll have the resources and support you need to handle each audit engagement with confidence. You'll work as part of a team and may spend time on site at the companies you're auditing, in virtual or hybrid forms of audit delivery. From the start, you'll be working on complex projects alongside some of the brightest minds in business and benefit from learning every day. You can also look forward to thorough ongoing internal and external training – on most of our programmes, you'll study for the ACA or the CA qualification.

We offer two different training paths for our Audit Graduate Programmes – Empowered/ICAS or Intensive. All programmes take three years to complete; they just offer different routes to achieving success.

Our Empowered (ACA) and ICAS (CA) Programme allows you to work and study near your KPMG office and follow blended work experience and study (classroom and online learning) towards ACA or CA (Scotland) qualification - local to your home office location.

Our ACA Intensive Programme offers you the chance, in year one to study full-time near a KPMG training hub in either London, Birmingham or Manchester – completing a 10 months study focus to pass 14 of 15 exams. Then in years two and three of the programme, you'll work at your KPMG office base, focus on work experience, which includes some travel for work, and complete exam 15 of 15.

Benefits and training

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits, including 25 days holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. You’ll also have access to an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development and be encouraged to make a difference through a range of volunteering opportunities.
