Job description

KPMG in the UK is part of a global network of member firms that offers Audit, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Tax & Law and Technology services. We use our insights, sector expertise and innovative technologies to deliver outcomes that make a positive difference for businesses, people, communities and the planet.

What is Consulting at KPMG?

Our Consulting teams immerse themselves in our clients’ business, applying sector knowledge and technology solutions to help companies grow and thrive. We work across diverse industries and sectors, from global organisations to the public sector, retail companies to UK banks and more, offering you the chance to gain a real breadth of work experience.

Consulting Apprenticeship

As a Consulting Apprentice, you'll be setting off on a journey of discovery that’s exciting and intellectually-challenging. You’ll have limitless opportunities to work on interesting projects that make a difference to businesses, people and communities, such as innovative approaches to reducing carbon footprints or improving access to life-saving care. We’ll empower you to collaborate with specialists within your team and the wider firm, gaining learning that will last you a lifetime. You’ll have the support you need to build your confidence, broaden your knowledge and be at your best, as you progress your career.

Training and Benefits

With the KPMG community by your side, you’ll have the support to grow in your own way. You’ll have access to funded, relevant professional qualifications or accreditations and an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development. On this programme, you’ll study towards the Level 4 Junior Management Consultant Apprenticeship in Years 1 and 2, with the final three years of your programme aligning to the professional qualification of the chosen business area, such as the ACA, ChMC, CIPD or another relevant professional qualification.

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.

What we look for

KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best - whoever you are and whatever your background. We look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See the specific programme page on our Careers Portal for entry requirements and our ‘How to Apply’ section for detailed application guidance.
