Industrial Placement Programme

Job description

Joining us on our one-year Industrial Placement Programme, you’ll assist our analysts by supporting our product and sector teams on a variety of complex transactions for global clients – gaining a unique insight into our business and investment banking. But you won’t do it alone.

Collaboration is at the centre of everything we do. Whatever the project, with the support of both our senior and junior colleagues, plus exceptional training, you’ll feel empowered by our small team culture and personable environment.

Your time at Lazard will be as varied as our team’s talents. From financial and statistical analysis to creating impactful client materials, this programme will teach you invaluable skills and will give you the chance to put your relationship-building and analytical skills to good use.

Thinking there’s a lot to learn? There is. But, you’ll learn from your peers. You’ll learn from senior colleagues. You’ll learn as you work. So, whatever subject you’re reading, all you need right now is a passion and flair for thinking differently and deeply about the challenge in front of you - whatever it might be.

Whether you realise it or not, you’ve already got the skills we’re looking for. Get a different perspective on your career opportunity.

What we are looking for

You will be in your second year of a four-year course, looking to complete the third year in industry. We look for an analytical mind and the desire to challenge yourself.

  • You’ll be in your penultimate year of studies (i.e. expected graduation date of 2021) with a minimum predicted or obtained 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent if you are studying outside the UK)
  • You must have obtained a minimum of ABB in your top three A-levels (or equivalent qualification), excluding general studies
  • We welcome and encourage applications from all degree disciplines

If you do not meet the qualification criteria but there are extenuating circumstances pertaining to your results, we recommend that you submit an application and explain the situation on your form in the relevant box provided.
