Enterprise Leadership Graduate

Job description

Develop strong leadership skills and one day you could be guiding the growth and development of the UK’s biggest digital bank.

Help lead and shape the bank of the future
To become the bank of the future – and make a difference to the lives of our 26 million customers and 1 million businesses across the country – we need strong leaders. We need people who can enable the transformation of our business and manage how we bring our customers and colleagues with us. Given the scale of our organisation, this isn’t an easy task so we’re looking for new talent to join us and make it happen. If you’re looking for a career with impact – we have a job for you. And the great news is you don’t need a business or finance degree to come and work with us.

Your career journey starts here
Are you fascinated by people? Do you have an urge to learn and innovate? Could you inspire the next generation of banking? If the answer is yes, you could play a key part in our future. You’ll work on everything from transformational change initiatives to create a more digitally-focused bank, to development projects with our product teams to improve how we interact with our customers. All the while building the skills to lead our organisation – both now and in the future.

About the programme
Over two years, you’ll complete three eight-month placements in different locations around the UK, working in a variety of areas to develop your strengths, knowledge of our business, and how it functions. From project management to cyber security, this programme offers a broad range of experiences to help you build your career in almost any division within Lloyds Banking Group.

Day-to-day you could be:

  • Leading the re-design of our products to better serve the needs of our customers
  • Inspiring your team to make a difference for themselves and their customers
  • Introducing new technology that will make banking easier for customers
  • Embracing new technologies and different ways of working in order to deliver excellence for our customers
  • Researching insights and trends to find new opportunities and markets
  • Interacting with customers and building your knowledge of the products we offer

Your development
People work best when they feel happy and valued. That’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring, volunteering initiatives, tailored learning and a professional qualification. Your managers will also work with you to create a personalised development plan to support your progression throughout your graduate programme.

We’ll support you to achieve a MSc Management.

The way we work
Everyone comes to Lloyds Banking group with different experiences, skills and knowledge, and these differences give us opportunities to learn and grow. It’s what makes our workplace unique and we encourage people from every kind of background to apply. It’s important for us, and it shows. Recently, we were named as one of The Times’ Top 50 Employers for Women for the eighth consecutive year, the Top Financial Employer and seventh overall in the 2019 Stonewall Top 100 employers list, and one of The Times’ Top 100 Graduate Employers.

Locations

Duration: Two years.
