Job description

A vacancy for a Graduate Conference Producer has now arisen at an incredibly exciting time to join LBCG, as we look to launch new live and virtual conferences in our core areas of automotive, rail, water and oil and gas. As a member of our team you will receive full training in business conference production and encouraged to actively take part in topic generation for future conferences. If you are bright, ambitious and hardworking and looking for a genuine career opportunity in business conferences then LBCG will provide you with full support and the tools to become the best in the industry. Fast track career progression to Event Director position also available if you can demonstrate you have the competences and achieve against the commercial targets on your projects

Responsibilities Include

  • Researching markets and hot topics through telephone-based research
  • Being responsible for production of written agendas, marketing copy and sales briefs
  • Acquire high-level industry speakers
  • Contribute to marketing and sales strategies
  • Project manage each conference from start to finish co-ordinating with all marketing, sales and operational team members

What we are looking for

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a readiness to take responsibility. High-Flyers encouraged to apply
  • You must be highly organised and self motivated
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills - we will provide full training on telephone research and speaker aquisition - these are skills that will stay with you for life
  • You must be prepared to quickly understand the various technical and engineering-based topics that form our products - enquiring mind and interest in world topics \ business is a must
  • A 2.1 degree, or higher
