A position is available for an enthusiastic graduate to join the Radio-Frequency (RF) Sensors team in Bristol. RF Sensors is a varied and exciting group with a responsibility for a wide range of technologies within MBDA; such as data communications, radars, altimeters and seekers. As part of the role, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of RF sensors and how they interact with other subsystems to form part of the wider missile system.
What will you be doing?
Within RF Sensors we can offer you a broad range of opportunities:
- RF Systems work covers a variety of radio frequency sub-systems, including data communications; radars; radio altimeters; and seekers, typically operating between 1 and 18GHz.
- Specification and assessment of RF products to support development, production and in-service programmes via interaction with UK and European colleagues and suppliers.
- Development, procurement, parameterisation, verification and/or validation of complex hardware performance models (e.g.Matlab, Simulink or similar)
- Monitoring supplier and technology roadmaps and identifying cutting edge and future technologies for investment
- Undertaking research and design activities in conjunction with French, Italian and/or German colleagues.

Qualifications and experience requirements
- You will hold or be working towards a 2:1 in any relevant engineering, electronics or applied physics degree
