Graduate Case Handler

Job description

Our client, a large financial services establishment are recruiting for a Graduate Case Handler to join a pensions project based in Edinburgh. After training, you will responsible for investigating customer cases, reviewing reports and collating data with a focus to achieve a fair customer outcome. This is a highly visible role where your contribution will not go unnoticed.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Working with a wide range of systems to manage data and updating customer information
  • Providing efficient and timely support to the review of pension products sold
  • Reviewing exception reports related to customer pension policies
  • Customer service via inbound and outbound calls
  • Handling written correspondence and performing the necessary action for customer queries
  • Updating customer records, capturing data and information to perform calculations
  • Responsible for working in line with policies and regulations

  • Work pattern: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
  • Duration: three months (with possible extension)

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2:1 degree required
  • Six months experience working within financial services is required
  • Confident written communication and telephony skills
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and decision-making skills with confidence in making appropriate decisions
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task between several systems and manage priorities
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to defined performance standards and contribute to the team and customer outcomes
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Driven to achieve targets and take ownership of workload
