Job description

Reporting to the Field Marketing Manager (UK and Ireland) and managing a team of brand ambassadors, this role is responsible for managing their geographic region, organising and activating all consumer marketing and managing the peer-to-peer sample programme. Please note that high levels of travel, both UK and international, are required as part of this role.

Duties and responsibilities
Create fans of the brand through the creation and activation of a local marketing programme in your region to include:

  • The Monster Ambassador team programme
  • Grassroot and national events
  • Motorsport, action sport and athletes programme
  • Music, tours and band programme
  • Gaming programme
  • Monster Girl programme
  • Media and website leverage
  • On and off trade inclusion

Recruit, train and run a diverse, edgy and on-brand team of individual ambassadors to ensure the programme is running at capacity throughout the year:

  • Deliver a high energy quality brand experience through activation of your marketing plan across 12 months
  • Actively generate trial of Monster Energy through guerrilla sampling
  • Responsible for the research, contact, negotiation and activation of grassroots events and marketing projects within their geographic region
  • Responsible for leveraging marketing properties online, in media and in trade
  • Responsible for local level communication between the MAT team, Country Manager and Distribution Partner (CCE)
  • Managing the care and control of the physical collateral (trucks and merchandise) within their region
  • Efficient administration of budgets and compliance with company policy

What we are looking for

The ideal experience:

  • Budget management experience
  • Previous experience with event co-ordination
  • Ability to work away from home for long periods of time
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative in an unsupervised environment
  • Gifted and natural communicator in any media
  • High standard of business English
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and achieve goals and meet time-lines
  • At least two years marketing experience, which includes team management
