About Nationwide

It’s easy to misunderstand what Nationwide is like. Why? Because we’re not like a bank. We’re not like other financial services companies either. We have some things that we genuinely believe in, not only as a business but as individuals too. We believe in helping our members, in supporting our colleagues, in making sure that everyone who has a connection with Nationwide feels like they belong to something unique. After all, we’re a building society. So, we’re building our Society with a sense of community and with a collective belief in the idea that we’re all here to help each other.

There are a range of opportunities for graduates, and you don't need a specific degree background to apply. The Graduate Development Programme isn’t one size fits all, nor do we expect you to be. This year you can even choose which disciplines suit you most, covering Customer and Employee Experience, Change, Finance, Risk, Modelling, Digital and Analyst. Our two-year schemes provide great training opportunities, mixed with ongoing support to form relationships and drive ongoing performance. We’re in it together after all, and you’ll never feel alone here.

We’re a building society, which means everything we do is for our 15 million members. Without our people we wouldn’t be able to service our members so efficiently. That’s why we offer such great rewards. In addition to a generous 24-day holiday allowance, you’ll have access to a company contributing pension, training opportunities and an annual performance-based bonus.

Join our Graduate Programme and become part of our Society. Working together to do things we couldn’t do alone.
