What can you expect?
Our Food Manufacturing Apprenticeship gives you the chance to play your part in helping our manufacturing teams achieve even greater success. You'll spend time being trained by our experts on how to operate within a food production environment, learning about quality, hygiene and safety standards and continuous improvement methods. You'll get the chance to work in a range of different production departments to develop your experience. With such a wide range of products and technologies within Nestlé, you will have the opportunity to learn, improve and challenge our current practices to help us stay fresh and keep moving forwards.
Your starting salary will be at least £16,000 and will increase each year providing you've successfully completed your training and met our Nestlé standards. You will develop the skills to succeed and grow your career with Nestlé, with opportunities to progress, potentially becoming one of our experts in a range of fields.

We are looking for candidates who believe they can make a difference within our teams, and can see the value they can bring to our business and brands. Your application could be the stepping stone towards a fantastic Nestlé career, with the potential for your Apprenticeship to open doors to any number of future roles with us. You could be our next food specialist, technologist, leading operator or even potential manager.
To be considered for our Food Manufacturing Apprenticeship, starting in September 2018, you'll need:
- Five GCSEs or equivalent (actual or predicted) at grades nine – four (or A*- C if received in 2017 or previous), which must include English and maths
- A desire to learn new skills
- A commitment to quality, hygiene and safety
- Initiative and the ability to solve problems
Due to shift working, there is a minimum age requirement for this role and therefore to be eligible you must be 18 by 1 September 2018.
Your qualification will be the level-three Trailblazers Advanced Process Operator Apprenticeship, an Apprenticeship programme lasting up to three years which mixes practical training with real on the job work experience.
