Quality Assurance Graduate Scheme

Job description

Over the course of two years, you’ll find out how our quality standards are achieved and how we maintain them. That means being in the thick of it at our factories, observing and influencing quality assurance at every stage. You’ll not only learn how we get our products to taste so good, your fresh ideas will also help us keep them that way.

Working alongside some of our best people in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, innovation and renovation and quality, you’ll create valuable relationships at all levels. Taking part in various projects, you’ll have a hands-on approach to problem solving and will love using your initiative to manage a range of real-life issues in the factory. We’re always looking for new ways to improve our processes, from production right through to consumer. Constantly honing what we do, while keeping product safety and legality front of mind is no mean feat, so your ideas will be invaluable. And once you’re on a roll, the sky’s the limit.

Benefits
We’re committed to improving people’s lives in everything we do. And that includes our employees. We want you to love your job and to feel rewarded for the contribution you make, so you can expect a competitive salary, plus all sorts of benefits. These include an annual bonus (as long as you meet certain criteria); shift allowance (where applicable); m embership of the Nestlé UK or Nestlé Ireland pension fund; access to our flexible reward scheme - where you can take advantage of the benefits that best suit you. And, if you work in our York or Gatwick head offices, you can even bring your four legged friend to work. Pretty good eh?

About Nestle
We’re Nestlé. The largest food and drink manufacturer in the world. We put delicious ingredients into our 2,000 products and out come world-beating brands like KitKat and Nespresso.

Well, the same goes for our Early Careers programmes. We blend individuals from all walks of life, with a whole range of experience and they work together as a team – really, really hard – and out come amazing results.

That’s how we became a world leading business. And that’s how we attract the most curious minds to our team. Because they know, that at Nestlé, they’ll be given loads of support, so they can be the best they can be.

What we are looking for

People who can be cautious when required, yet who are unafraid to speak up when they’ve got an idea that could really improve the way we do things. Remember that time you spent gaining your Science Degree at uni, learning how to problem solve and develop your own ideas? We want you to put that learning into practice.

Your placement will be a warm-up for you taking a front seat in decision-making that will have a direct effect on our organisation. We want people who’re aiming to become our future factory and corporate Quality Managers. People who can’t wait to take control of their careers and build something that they can really be proud of.

So if you’re a brilliant communicator who is champing at the bit to put your big thinking into action, let’s chat. We think we might have a lot in common.
