NFU Mutual
graduate scheme

Customer Service Graduate Scheme 2021

Job description

Make the most of your future with NFU Mutual

If you want to get to know all about our business, then this is the ideal place to start. Predominantly Head office based, you will undertake a tailored three year programme, across a series of placements within our customer services division, designed to give you a genuine understanding of how to manage relationships and deliver practical solutions that really do fulfil customer expectations. Working in our claims, underwriting and operations departments, as well as having the opportunity to spend up to 12 months at one of our regional offices in York or Bristol, our aim is to give you a real breadth and depth of experience - including involvement in project and change initiatives - ensuring you are fully equipped to make the most of your future in a specialist or operational management role.

The package
There is more to joining NFU Mutual than just the salary and benefits – good as they are! Instead we would like you to focus on the bigger picture, including the personal development opportunities on offer and the professional qualifications you will gain along the way (such as the CII Certificate, PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar). Rest assured, today’s graduates will form our next generation of leaders and as such are highly visible within the business, enjoying widespread exposure and plenty of interaction with senior management, whilst being given all the tools needed to succeed – you get the picture?

We think the facts speak for themselves and hope you do too. Simply click Apply, complete your online application, and we’ll be in touch.

What we are looking for

Commercially aware and with a genuine desire to develop and progress, you will relish the chance to work in a collaborative environment, where everyone plays a part. An excellent communicator and problem solver, who can build strong working relationships right across the board, we will be looking for a history of good academic performance, culminating in a minimum 2:2 degree in any subject area. However, more importantly, we are seeking someone who wants to challenge themselves to be the best they can be and, in the process, make a positive contribution to the evolving service provision that is the cornerstone of our success.
