Graduate Trainee Project Manager

Job description

NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is looking for eight recent graduates to join their team and assist in radically transforming healthcare across the county whilst kick-starting a career in project management.

  • Are you looking for a varied, dynamic and placement-based graduate scheme?
  • Want the opportunity to learn core project management skills in a variety of settings?
  • Do you have a desire to make a significant impact on people’s lives?

NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is looking for recent graduates to join our team on a full time basis and assist us in leading the way in radically transforming health and care in our area, to achieve better health outcomes for local people. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in project management, developing key skills, including stakeholder engagement, planning, reporting, and change and risk management, no matter what your background or level of experience.

The placement focused structure of our scheme will allow you to become a member of a range of teams across Dorset’s healthcare organisations; delivering projects whilst working alongside a variety of stakeholders, including clinicians, patients and the public. Whilst you will be based at either Vespasian House, Dorchester, or Canford House, Poole, the role will require you to travel to various locations across the county, and so the ability to work autonomously is imperative.

During your time on our 18-month scheme, we'll invest in your learning and development, supporting you to complete various training courses, to ensure you have the necessary skills to progress on your career path within Dorset’s Integrated Care System.

What we are looking for

We are looking to expand our already diverse team and, as such, no specific degree is required but you will have graduated in the last five years, ideally with a 2:1 or above.
