One of our opportunities is for a Graduate Trainee in market sale based in Northampton. The Market Sale team is part of our Property Investment division, and is the development and sales arm of the organisation, responsible for building around 1,700 properties a year for rent and sale. We build a range of homes to meet need and aspiration and are proud to offer our customers a flexible housing journey, including affordable rent, private rent, shared ownership, market sale and independent living.
In this key role we will provide you with an invaluable insight into Housing and develop your understanding of how our business interacts and manages relationships with our customers. You will learn about commercial elements including sales and marketing as well as technical areas including land management, quantity surveying and asset management.
Upon successful completion of the scheme our intention is to offer you a permanent position and continue to support and develop you to become a future leader within our organisation.
About the Scheme
The scheme is a two-year placement starting in September 2018.

On a practical level, you will also need to be a car driver in order to fulfil the aspects of this role as some of your placements may be located in other Orbit offices located across the country. During one of your rotation placements which will be based in the Sales Team, you may be required to work weekends, so flexibility is essential.
Qualifications and experience requirements
- You’ll need to have achieved or expected to achieve, a 2:2 in a relevant degree such as construction management or quantity surveying.
Accepted degree subjects
rising to £26,500 in year two.
