Job description

Award winning recruitment consultancy – Oscar (a Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2017), is looking for two new Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our renowned School of Excellence at our brand new Office in London or our head office in Manchester City Centre and progress to become full 360 Recruitment Consultants to deliver best in class recruitment solutions.

Do you want to be our next Recruiter in London or Manchester?
We’re looking for you to be either a graduate or a graduate-calibre candidate with an ability to understand people, what they want and what drives them. You will be genuinely passionate about your work, positive to a fault and the most enthusiastic person you know! We also look for individuals that motivate themselves daily but are great team players too (we share info and don’t do lone wolves), a great understanding of social media, and those that know that progression comes from being way outside of their comfort zone.

Sounds intense right? That’s because it is, it’s a rollercoaster, but progression is transparent and due to our bespoke “milestones” booklet, you will always know where you are up to and how to progress.

It’s also fun – loads of fun, rewarding financially, generates unrivalled career opportunities and your colleagues will feel like family. We care about how you are and how you do – genuinely, and you get to finish at 4pm every Friday! Oscar is a Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2017, a 2 starred “Best Company”, Global Recruiter magazine and OnRec award winner, a proud and active supporter of the amazing Forever Manchester charity, a creator of an inclusive and diverse work culture, and a truly meritocratic organisation – so you can take great pride in working for us.

You also get

  • Competitive basic salary with uncapped earning potential.
  • Excellent commission structure – no thresholds
  • Car allowance scheme
  • Monthly afternoons and evenings in top restaurants and bars for hitting targets
  • A leading smartphone
  • Reward portal – make your money go further with discount codes and reloadable store cards
  • Bi-annual Targets for trips abroad – Ibiza, Majorca, Las Vegas, Prague, Barcelona etc
  • Duvet day incentives
  • Flexi-hours for parents
  • Flexi-hours for Senior Consultants and above (you can reach this in 18 months!)
  • Accredited management training
  • Enhanced paid leave for important life events
  • Employee charity committee
  • Employee social committee
  • Pension – access to a workplace pension with employer and employee contribution
  • Annual day at the races

Well-being initiatives including:

  • Fresh fruit daily
  • Health cash plan £1,000+ cash back on everyday healthcare
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Free flu vaccinations
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Discounted health club membership (national)
