Oyster Worldwide are responsible travel and gap year specialists who have been organising exciting and worthwhile overseas adventures since 1999.

We have over 60 projects in 22 destinations around the world and it is possible to take part from one week to a whole year.

Paid work - Enhance your CV by working abroad. Working overseas can show future potential employers that you are a capable, responsible go-getter and it can greatly improve your career prospects. Plus you will be earning money which means you can fund further travel at the same time. Oyster has a variety of options in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Thailand and China.

Animal Welfare volunteering - If you are passionate about animals then taking part in an animal welfare volunteering programme overseas can be a hugely rewarding experience - not to mention great fun too. With a range of options from volunteering with elephants in South Africa, Thailand, Namibia or Sri Lanka to volunteering with orangutans in Malaysia or with bears in Romania there is a something that will appeal to everyone.

Teaching and childcare volunteering - Take part in a childcare or teaching programme where your help is much needed and appreciated. With a variety of options in Brazil, Chile, Romania and South Africa as well as the option to take part in a TEFL programme and find paid work in Thailand or China.
