We have an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to start their career in our team as a Graduate Trainee Tax Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills whilst working within a supportive team and gaining full qualifications over a four-year scheme.

The role
As Graduate Trainee Tax Accountant, you will collaborate with the tax team to work on a variety of taxes that affect the group, and carry out a wide range of tasks to support the Group’s tax filings and payments to HMRC.

Your role will develop over time as you learn new skills and develop existing ones. By year four of our scheme, you will be responsible for many tasks across our department, becoming a key contact within the Tax team and gaining excellent exposure across our business.

In return for your hard work as our Graduate Trainee Tax Accountant, we can offer a fantastic starting salary of £25,000 per annum together with a range of benefits including pension and share schemes.

Full training will be provided over a four-year period, starting with the ICAEW’s ACA qualification before progressing to the CIOT CTA qualification.

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrate a strong interest of working within corporate taxes
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, learning to deliver key communications to senior management in the organisation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • A high level of attention to detail

  • Relevant degree and an awareness of IFRS accounting
  • A-Levels (including maths)
