We now have an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join our team as a Group Trainee Tax Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills whilst working within a supportive team and gaining full qualifications.
Joining our team, the Group Trainee Tax Accountant will support and work with the other members of the tax team across the variety of taxes that affect the Group and carry out various tasks to support the Group’s tax filings and payments to HMRC ensuring that the right amount is paid at the right time.
Your role will evolve over time as you learn new skills and develop existing ones. Starting with supporting routine tasks in year one; by year four it is envisaged that you will own a variety of tasks across the department, becoming a key contact within the team and enhancing your network across the group.
The role is part of a small tax team of six who work closely together and support each other with their roles as opportunities arise.

Full training will be provided over a four-year period, starting with the ICAEW’s ACA qualification before progressing to the CIOT CTA qualification. This will be complimented by on the job training through the existing tax team.

- Strong interest of working within corporate taxes
- Articulate and able to put their ideas forward
- Strong Excel skills
- Drive and determination to make a real difference
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent timekeeping and the ability to multi-task
A relevant degree and an awareness of IFRS accounting would be beneficial.
