Job description
As a graduate at Petrofac, you’ll work with world-class experts on some of the most significant energy projects in the world. You’ll join us in our mission to design, build, manage and maintain infrastructure for diverse clients including some of the world’s leading energy companies. At every step of the way, you can look forward to friendly advice and guidance from your mentors and colleagues. Together we’ll enable clients to meet the world’s evolving energy needs.
Your role
Whether we are delivering design, modification or construction activities, or providing vital operational support to oil, gas and energy facilities, you’ll be there to provide technical safety engineering support. Onshore and offshore, you’ll play a crucial role.
Your varied responsibilities will range from safety cases, safety screening and performance standards, through to dispersion modelling. Developing all the skills you need for HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Analysis) and HAZID (Hazard Identification) you’ll analyse everything from fire risk and smoke or gas ingress, to evacuation, escape and rescue.
What we offer you
You’ll receive structured training aligned to professional bodies, giving you credentials to last your whole career. Training is delivered in a variety of ways: within Petrofac, externally and on-the-job. You’ll also have the advantage of personal development programmes to build up your interpersonal and leadership skills.
Crucially, you’ll make a real contribution from day one through hands-on work experience projects that broaden your professional experience and knowledge of Petrofac. We’ll match you with an expert as a mentor to provide day-to-day support.
Our promise
We recruit, reward and develop our people based on merit regardless of race, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, marital status or disability. We value our people and treat everyone who works for or with Petrofac fairly and without discrimination.
In return for your contribution, you can look forward to a fantastic package including a generous starting salary of £34,000, pension, healthcare, lifestyle benefits and generous holiday entitlement.
