Job description

Are you an ambitious and driven IT graduate, who holds a STEM related degree and has a genuine passion for technology? If so, then the PGDS Graduate Scheme may be perfect for you!

Our Graduate scheme is designed to really maximise your learning potential, giving you the varied experience of building, testing and implementing new infrastructure and allowing you to liaise with colleagues and customers ultimately to further improve PGDS services. A graduate career with PGDS is varied and stimulating with opportunities to learn new skills using a number of platforms and technologies. The scheme is a fast-track, high-potential programme consisting of four rotations over 24 months to facilitate a broad understanding of the IT Infrastructure business and to facilitate cross-company networks. Graduates will have the opportunity to support and lead on challenging projects, implement new IT solutions and contribute to develop new innovative business initiatives.

Company information

PGDS (Prudential Global Data Services) is a division within Prudential plc responsible for providing all IT infrastructure services across the Prudential Group of Companies in the UK and Europe. Alongside overseeing the day-to-day operation of hardware and software services associated with the Group's IT infrastructure, we also provide IT support for these services.

PGDS employs approximately 380 people in the UK who are based in our London, Reading and Stirling offices, and highly values its employees with a core belief that we can achieve more together than as individuals. It involves how we interact and treat one another, considering the impact we have, valuing diversity and working collaboratively to achieve excellent business results and customer experiences.

Person requirements

Qualifications and experience requirements

To be eligible to apply you will need to have a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) and to have graduated in 2016, 2017 or 2018. In addition, you must be a high achiever who is committed to self-study, have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills and have reasonable knowledge of current technological trends.
