As a production engineer your work will be very diverse and every day will bring fresh challenges. Working at first under the guidance of experienced team members you will develop both the practical engineering skills and specialist knowledge needed to design and manufacture of sub-Kelvin cryogenic coolers. As you progress, you will have scope to develop your own particular areas of interest and expertise within the broader range of company activities. Day to day activities might include:
- Developing and applying both CAD and practical engineering skills to both day-to-day production and production / process innovation
- Hands-on practical contribution to key stages of product design, fabrication and testing
- Managing and tracking orders of specialist parts and materials from our suppliers
- Participating in R&D to develop the new products and improved production processes that will ensure the future success of the business
What are all the practical details?
- COVID start details: you will be required to work in the office/laboratory (which is COVID safe, following up to date government COVID guidelines).
- Start date: April - June 2021

- Familiarity with using CAD (e.g. Solidworks) to produce engineering drawings,

- Adept problem solver who can use their initiative and think on their feet.
- Able to work to effectively with others and contribute to research and development.
