Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be willing to undergo, and eligible to achieve HMG security clearance (prior to appointment). As a result, candidates should be a British Citizen; and have resided in the UK for the last five years.
As well as the mandatory skills we require from all of our Graduates ( ie to work autonomously, document writing, etc) to join as a graduate in the cyber business areas we require you to have two or more of the following skills and a keen interest in the cyber domain:
- High Level software development (e.g. Java/C++)
- Low level programming and scripting (e.g. C, Python, Bash)
- An understanding of Linux internals (e.g. custom Kernel development and building )
- Network traffic analysis and simulation (e.g. use of Wireshark, protocol reverse engineering, network test emulator development)
- Software reverse engineering (e.g x86 or arm decompilation and analysis, use of IDAPro)
Qualifications and experience requirements
We are looking to take on 40 new graduates in 2017, competition is high with over 200 applicants each year. You will need a good honours degree in one of the following or related subjects:
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Systems engineering
- Computer science
- Software engineering
