Dragonmobility's passion is to support disabled people in their access to mainstream life. We manufacture bespoke powerchairs, enabling disabled people worldwide to be fully integrated.
Our Managing Director, Ruth Everard, leads our thriving company and lives her own busy life while herself living with a severe neuromuscular condition.
Our opportunities (including internships)
Ruth offers one-year placements for new graduates, working as her personal assistants. They stay with her for 24-hours a day while they are on duty, with plenty of time off in between.
Dragonmobility also offers diverse internships and graduate roles.
What makes us different
We are a family business and the practical, problem-solving nature of our founders runs throughout our wider team. Although not all of us have personal experience of disability, we are all driven by the principle that nobody should be excluded from normal life.
What we’re looking for
These roles are for graduates of all disciplines, including science, engineering, marketing, design, humanities and languages. You have a proactive approach and an inclusive mentality, you take pride in doing a job well, and you are excited by this opportunity to use your skills to make a difference to real people.
Development and career progression
Every individual has broad opportunities to expand their natural skills, and is actively encouraged to undertake further training and gain new qualifications. Members of past and current teams have all progressed as their skills have developed.
