Our Civil Engineering Programme
As part of our 24-month civil engineering graduate programme you will work in our Design Engineering profession at either our Risley offices in Warrington, or Sellafield offices in Cumbria.
From emergent, on-plant situations requiring design support and advice, plant modifications on legacy facilities and infrastructure, to large multi-million pound new build projects, Design Engineering at Sellafield Ltd covers a great spectrum of opportunities for graduates.
Design Engineers at Sellafield Ltd face some of the most unique & challenging work in the industry, and our engineering capability enables us to accelerate high hazard reduction in a safe, environmentally responsible, cost effective and pragmatic manner.
Whichever profession you join us in you’ve got so much to look forward to. Not least complex challenges and the opportunity to learn from industry – sometimes world – experts.
We are transforming our organisation, seeking to accelerate the delivery of our mission while also making significant savings for the taxpayer. As part of this change, we are determined to deliver the maximum social impact from the £2bn of taxpayer money that we spend at Sellafield every year.
Through Social Impact activity from both Sellafield Ltd and our supply chain partners we aim to unlock additional value for the local area, directing our resources and assets to secure maximum impact to those with greatest need.
In recognition of the importance Sellafield Ltd places on delivering Social Impact, we encourage that everyone who is on our graduate programme carries out at least 10 hours of social impact activity per year.
