We have opportunities for ambitious, curious, open-minded Civil Engineering students to join us in various professions on a year-long industrial placement.

Our Industrial Placement
Our 12-month Industrial Placement programme is ideal for students looking to complete a placement during their time at university. The placement is designed to provide you with a flavour of what it is like to work at Sellafield Ltd and although you are only with us for a year, we can assure you that you will still feel you have made a difference.

As part of the Industrial Placement programme you will get the chance to take part in activities that will allow you develop your skills in line with our Graduate Programme and also allow you to obtain valuable employability skills and experience.

Our Civil Engineering Placements
As part of our 12-month engineering industrial placement programme you could work in one of the following professions:

Design Engineering - (Risley, Warrington).
Plant Engineering - (Sellafield, Cumbria).

What we are looking for

Qualifications

You’ll need to be on track or expected to achieve at least a 2:1 in your degree discipline and ideally will be within your penultimate year of study.

Face-to-face interviews: Throughout December 2019 and January 2020.
