Job description

Our graduate programme will help you develop your skills and experience, build on your degree and help you realise your career goals that much quicker.

As a Quantity Surveyor Graduate you’ll complete all aspects of our two year Skanska graduate programme, including the delivery of two key projects, and training and development that is unique to Skanska.

What you’ll do:

  • Negotiate with trade contractors and client representatives
  • Support the preparation of site measurement and records, day work sheets, labour and plant returns
  • Procure trade contract packages, including completing detailed tender analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents.
  • Work within the projects commercial team and have responsibility in measuring and quantifying works for cost plan validation, completing interim and final account valuations.

Person requirements

  • Naturally analytical, confident in problem solving and have excellent commercial awareness
  • You’ll be flexible with your location and be prepared to relocate (if required) as our roles can be located anywhere across the UK

Qualifications and experience requirements

  • Studying to degree level in an numerical subject (we accept applications from finance, business, science or construction related degrees)
  • No previous experience in construction is required but you will want to help us shape the future and build for a better society
