Teach English

Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

COVID-19 update: our programme is resuming as normal during this time. This year we have added a flexible start-date for those applicants that don’t make it on-time to our August summer camp induction should applicants receive delays in their application this year (i.e. delayed graduation ceremony, documents due to local lockdowns). Applicants may also choose to defer their application at any time during the process until a later date/following year should they need to at no extra cost.

10-month paid Teaching Placement

Learn a new profession, build your resume, experience a new culture, learn a new language, travel, and get paid for it! Placements are available at all levels from Kindergarten/Primary school to University. Don’t worry if you have never taught before, over 90% of teachers in China are in the same position. Our programme will help get you up to speed.

Programme perks

  • Paid teaching placement (full-time and part-time hours available)
  • Free accommodation on-site/nearby (includes utilities)
  • Two-way flight reimbursement (start and end of programme)
  • Full visa and application support
  • Fully paid teaching placement (10+ months)
  • Placement selection (choose which city you want to live in)
  • Long school holidays (experience more than six-weeks paid holidays a year plus weekends)

Travel / Holidays

Have the rest of Asia on your door step! Spend your 4-week long winter holiday exploring the temples in Thailand, the ski-slopes of South Korea, or Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay. Then after you finish your contract in June/July spend another two months exploring the rest of China/Asia. There really is a lot of time to explore.

Community Guidance

Don’t go into it alone. Applicants are free to apply with friends, or as part of a group. Applicants may also be placed together with other applicants from the programme to ensure nobody is alone. Make life long new friends during the visa process and summer camp that you can share the experience with.
