Retail Graduate Programme

Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

Our new two-year Retail graduate programme will ensure you gain a breadth of valuable retail experience early in your career. You’ll have the opportunity to work in different store formats, from our small Express stores to our large Extra stores, as well as a Distribution Centre (DC) or Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC). Through diverse placements, plus a head office project, you’ll see how different parts of the business work hand-in-hand to serve customers a little better every day.

Colleagues in our stores are making a difference for customers with a friendly, flexible approach, while DC and CFC colleagues make sure customers can get the right products, at the right time, and at the level of quality they’ve come to expect from us. As a Retail graduate, you’ll be understanding what matters for our customers and inspiring a team of colleagues to put customers at the heart of everything we do. We’ll support you in gaining vital management skills to help you lead and develop your team.

Working in our stores, DCs and CFCs

For each of your three roles, we’ll place you in a store, DC or CFC that maximises your opportunity for development. To support you getting a breadth of experience, you might need to re-locate after six months, and again after your first year.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for graduates with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude, not forgetting a passion for retail! You’ll love a challenge and be able to think on your feet. You’ll also be comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues. The real success in this role will come from working as part of a team and being great with people.
