Graduate Digital Marketing Executive

Job description

All our brands have dedicated teams of marketing specialists who drive traffic to our sites, create memorable campaigns, and keep our customers coming back for more. From PPC and SEO, to Social Media and Influencer marketing, we’ve got it covered. 

Digital Marketing at THG typically focuses on three key channels:

Social Media: You will predominantly be responsible for creating engaging posts and interacting with our customers across a variety of social media channels for our brands. Main duties include:

  • Select, edit and post images with well written and engaging captions
  • Utilise all functionalities of social platforms to drive reach, visibility and engagement
  • Employ strategies to grow following and industry presence
  • Ability to read and interpret data and metrics to analyse social performance
  • Create and collate social media reports to share with external partners and stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of a content plan and put forward creative ideas for content marketing
  • Launch, develop and maintain new and current social channels, ensuring consistent posting to maximise reach and impact
  • Conduct hashtag research and help identify key influencers to develop further promotional and social marketing opportunities
  • Engage with the marketing & trading teams, running social in tandem with other site activity

Content: You will be responsible for producing captivating, performance-driven content for our client/ brands sites, with a primary focus on blog content. Main duties include: 

  • Work closely with the Content Manager to execute editorial content strategy across clients/brands. You will produce blog content and website copy that supports trading initiatives and the wider marketing team’s objectives, working to drive organic performance
  • Work with the Content Manager to learn about the blog-hosting platform and CMS, supporting with new content uploads and publication
  • Conduct market and competitor research in order to produce relevant, valuable content that increases brand awareness and drives traffic to sites
  • Carry out regular quality assurance checks on content 
  • Identify new features and functionalities for blog articles, with the goal to increase engagement and improve conversion rates 
  • Monitor and report on content performance, making recommendations for how to improve engagement
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure best practice in all content production, including close alignment with tone of voice and brand guideline documentation
  • Produce content to support SEO and work closely with the Paid Media team to develop copy in support of paid advertising activity 

Influencer: You'll manage the end-to-end relationship with our influencers, from initial outreach and budgets, to campaign performance and global strategy. Main duties include:

  • Research and identification of suitable influencers across one of clients/brands
  • Complete end-to-end relationship management with influencers, from initial outreach emails to processing payments 
  • Input into creative campaign ideas and strategies to build global brand awareness 
  • Use tools including Excel and Google Analytics to analyse and report on influencer performance 
  • Liaise with Content, Social, Campaign and Digital teams to execute 360 marketing campaigns and amplify influencer coverage 
  • Support the PR Team with ad hoc tasks, including the organisation and management of PR events

  • Top level graduate, looking to start work after graduation in Summer 2022
  • Commercially astute, ambitious and highly intelligent individuals who are hungry for success and genuine responsibility
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build solid relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong passion for Digital Marketing, as well as good organisational skills
  • Knowledge of both current and emerging global platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok etc.
  • A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to meet deadlines
