Our Brand & Marketing Placement Programme

You’ll start with a comprehensive induction, combining classroom learning with store visits, team meetings and workshops. With the support of your ‘team buddy’ and wider team, you’ll develop both people skills and technical know-how.

You’ll be joining a diverse and collaborative team of 100+ marketers who plan and execute comms across six different countries, you’ll rotate across two of the many functions within the wider Brand and Marketing team which include specialisms like corporate responsibility, gift cards or media.From day one you’ll become part of a team developing stand-out communications content and contribute to activity that engages customers in exciting, distinctive ways, to ensure commercial success both in-store and online.

You’ll make sure customers across Europe are targeted through the right channels at the right time. Whether amplifying our charitable initiatives, or keeping a keen eye on social media trends, you’ll be exposed to the entire marketing mix – as well as world-class agencies. You’ll discover a constantly changing environment where decisions are made quickly, and everyone works together to make the incredible possible.

What we are looking for

  • Ready to undergo a 12-month Industrial Placement as part of your third year of any sandwich degree course
  • Fascination for branding and marketing
  • Ability to think both creatively and commercially
  • Natural curiosity and highly self-motivated

If you have European language skills - particularly German or Polish – that’s a real plus.

And if you’ve lived and worked in mainland Europe, that’s even better. In a pan-European business like ours, these are great assets to have.
