Job description

Open to changing the game?

We rely on our financial strength to be agile, adaptable and, ultimately, to grow the business. That’s where you come in.

We’ll give you real responsibility – fast. Finance at TJX Europe is dynamic, strategic and forward-looking, so you won’t be balancing the books. Instead, you’ll work with all parts of the business and get great exposure to different ways of working, plus our diverse and talented teams.

As you’ll work in one of our core finance areas, you’ll have the chance to gain in-depth professional knowledge of one particular area, as well as an appreciation for the wider business. You’ll also develop an understanding of how finance adds real value to everything we do. The skills you grow might include financial reporting, analysis and accountancy techniques.

The experience you’ll gain
Ultimately, you’re not only looking to start your career. You’re looking for an unforgettable journey. You want to be part of something huge. Something global. A sixmonth Finance placement with TJX Europe is where it can all begin.

Wherever your placement takes you, you’ll get lots of training, both on and off the job. So you can expect plenty of practical opportunities to put your new abilities to the test and see the difference you can make. Perform well and you could invited to apply for the Finance Graduate Programme.

Company information

You might not have heard of TJX Europe, but you’ve probably heard of our brands – TK Maxx and Homesense. We’re part of the world’s leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer – TJX Companies, Inc. Last year, our annual revenue was over $33 billion*. But we don’t want to stop there. We’re confident that we can continue to grow and become a $40 billion plus company. Merchandising and Buying are the areas that make our business unique, and so they’re vital to our future success.

Off-price – the key to our success
What keeps our customers coming back time and time again? The fact that we offer designer labels, top brands and unique gems for less. Our ever-changing, eclectic treasure hunt of thousands of the world’s best and most exciting fashion and homeware brands mean our customers can find their unique style for less.

This is down to our Off-Price business model, which is at the heart of everything we do. Our opportunistic buyers are on the hunt throughout the year, buying merchandise from thousands of vendors around the world. It’s about thinking fast, being creative and making great deals.

This means that no two deliveries are ever the same. And neither are any two days. It’s an unconventional approach which is echoed throughout all areas of TJX Europe.

*Fiscal year ending January 30, 2017
